I went to school with a girl,whom had earned the nickname,big sexy. Why? She wore mini skirts, and was a fatter girl with sores on her. Yet,this young woman thought she was beautiful and sexy, and she was mocked and ridiculed for it. This is the degration of the human psyche. When a man or woman is proud of who they are,other humans who are insecure and immature mock and ridicule them. Where is our apathy? Our humanity? Our brotherly love and care? Gone with the social downfall of our connection to our emotions. Tv,advertising and lack of morals have worn down our ability to reason and appreciate each other. Unless we regain our ability to love and respect each other,we are doomed to a very pitiful existance,one filled with hate and despair.
Good riddance apathy!
Love and peace,is the solution. But how do we gain these things,and keep them? The question is one of ageless answers,but none seem to have been correct. Yet,it has always been there,and shall forever remain right in front of us,until we choose to look beyond our ignorance,and choose a new path to follow. I believe in humanity. We all need to believe in ourselves.
